Winemaker Notes: Deep ruby red, it shows appealing aromas of small red berries with hints of flowers and spice. It is medium-bodied and well-balanced with velvety tannins.

VINIFICATION After de-stemming the berries are softly pressed. The must is then chilled at 10˚-12˚C for 1 to 2 days in stainless steel tanks. Fermentation starts with natural yeasts and the maceration lasts 15 days. Malolactic fermentation takes place without inoculation.

AGING Slavonian oak for 6 months, then 3 months in stainless steel tanks

GRAPE VARIETALS Sangiovese 85% Canaiolo and Ciliegiola 15%
